BIWIN eMMC

eMMC chips are the main storage choice for hardware designers of mobile phones, handheld gadgets, IoT devices, digital video security camera systems, automotive entertainment & ADAS systems, and compact PCs (and even Chromebooks, tablets, and 2-in-1 PCs.) One clear advantage of eMMC is the integration of the controller in the same IC package with the NAND Flash which simplifies product development and reduces the time needed to launch the product.

The eMMC connects to a device’s main circuit board. From there, the eMMC chip’s controller handles the task of putting data in storage while the device’s CPU focuses on other tasks. With NAND flash memory, the eMMC chip uses little to almost no power to hold onto data.
